Quality & Patient Safety

Participants learn practical methods for identifying system gaps, analyzing incidents, and implementing process improvements that enhance patient safety.
⛑️ Validation and Counseling of Prescriptions for Controlled Substances and Opioids
This focused program strengthens pharmacist and technician competency in verifying, dispensing, and counseling on controlled substances. Learners review red flags, safety protocols, documentation requirements, and best practices for preventing misuse and diversion.
To ensure the timely and accurate recording of continuing education (CE) credits, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Submission Timeline: It is best practice to submit all CE credits within seven (7) days following the conclusion of the course.
- Agency Submission Deadline: Please note that, per ACPE guidelines, CE credits will not be submitted by the agency if more than 60 days have passed since the training.
- Credit Processing: Once credits have been submitted through Lecture Panda, please allow up to 24 hours for them to appear in your account.
