The Disaster Distress Helpline is a 24/7 crisis counseling service provided by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in the United States. It offers immediate crisis counseling to people affected by disasters, including those affected by natural disasters, pandemics, etc. You can reach the helpline by calling 1-800-985-5990 or texting “TalkWithUs” to 66746 to connect with a trained crisis counselor.
